Wheatland County Facility

Concrete footings poured and tested to specification, with insulated concrete forms and fibreglass structural rebar on site for the vertical build.

Concrete footings are in at Wheatland County, forming the structural base of the building. The pour was completed to the engineering specification, and concrete testing has since confirmed that all strength and quality benchmarks were met before anything went on top of it.

Materials for the next phase are on site. Insulated Concrete Forms will shape the walls, bringing high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation into the structure itself rather than adding it afterwards. Reinforcing them is fibreglass structural rebar, chosen for its corrosion resistance and high tensile strength — both of which matter for how long this building stays sound.

Preparation is now underway for ICF wall installation and rebar placement, moving the project into the vertical build.
