In-house Services in Calgary

HVAC, electrical and interior design, done by our own team — so the building is finished by the people who planned it.

How it works

The trades that finish a building are usually where the schedule breaks down. Each one arrives with its own schedule, its own assumptions about what the last trade left behind, and its own reasons why a problem is somebody else’s. Keeping HVAC, electrical and interior design in-house removes most of those hand-offs.

It matters most in buildings that do two jobs. In a barndominium or a shop with offices, heating, ventilation, power and finishes all have to work across the line between living or working space and the shop floor. Planning them alongside the structure — rather than fitting them in afterwards — is what keeps runs short, loads right and finishes clean.

Because it is one team, there is one schedule and one point of contact from design through to the final walkthrough.

FAQ

In-house questions

Why not bring in my own trades?

You can talk to us about it, but keeping HVAC, electrical and interior design in-house means one schedule, one point of contact, and nobody pointing at somebody else when a detail needs sorting out.

Do you do interior design for barndominiums?

Yes. The living side of a barndominium is designed alongside the shop, so heating, power and finishes are planned for the whole building rather than added afterwards.

How is the work priced?

Projects are run on either a project-management or a construction-management basis, depending on the job. Which one applies is set out in the proposal, before any work starts.
