Building Erection
Building Erection in Calgary
Frames, girts, purlins, cladding and roofing — put up in the right order, safely, by a crew that knows the building.

How it works
Erection is where a building either goes up the way it was drawn or starts to drift. The sequence matters: columns and rafters plumbed and braced before secondary members go on, girts and purlins set before the envelope, and every connection made to the engineered detail rather than whatever fits on the day.
Because the same team designs and permits the building, the erection crew is working from drawings they already know. Lift plans, crane positions and laydown areas are sorted out before the steel arrives on site, not while it is sitting on the ground.
Rural and remote sites are part of the work, not an exception to it — from southern Alberta through central Alberta and into the Crowsnest Pass.
FAQ
Erection questions
Do you work on rural sites?
Yes. Rural construction is a regular part of the work, across southern and central Alberta and into the Crowsnest Pass.
What happens to leftover steel on site?
It is separated from the rest of the construction waste so it can be recovered rather than sent to landfill.
How is the work priced?
Projects are run on either a project-management or a construction-management basis, depending on the job. Which one applies is set out in the proposal, before any work starts.
